Apple blossom
I harbour no regrets in submitting apple blossom again, especially when it is so magnificent. I simply hope to have done it justice.
I left the tripod in position all day, and waited until 7pm so that the flowers received little sun and no deep shadows.
Using a vintage 50mm lens (Porst colour reflex f1.4) i was then able to shoot wide open
It was windy hence the high shutter speed but i was able to shoot wide open, creating a shallow depth of field. Vintage lenses are not the sharpest, but their character is to be admired. And being a manual focus lens means a little more care id needed
