Blossom

My husband and I decided to walk along the Water of Leith to Haymarket for some lunch. The blossom trees on our streets are not fully out but as I'll be away for a week I  will miss that. There is a spot on the walk where I regularly see one heron but today there was five (seen with difficulty in the extra) four of them on the roof of the building. 
Luckily it dried up enough later for me to plant my purchases from Harlow Carr before I go to my daughter's. They would have survived until I got back but I was glad to get that job done.
