Barrio Santiago is one of two barrios where you’ll find the true gitano flamenco culture. But it is poor with many derelict but once beautiful buildings.But the developers have their hungry eyes on the area with luxury apartments for those that can afford it. The fear is the local people will be pushed out like in Triana in Seville.
