The Gardening Bug
Chelsea Flower Show is almost over, and we've recently endured bad weather including a brief but violent snow and hail storm mid-week. Today has been glorious. I've been out early morning to get some hill walking practice in for the Three Peaks Challenge, and back in good time to see to the garden. This is only the second time this spring/summer that i've seen a ladybird, and not a 'red' one in sight. This is (I think) a 14-spot ladybird, left to it's own devices in the area of lawn I have left to grow wild. Strange thing is, not even any Harlequins have shown up... yet.
