Beer and Band

Kingsday today in the Netherlands what's of course a Bank Holiday for all here and all take to the streets for taking part in the fun. 

And Kingsday (formerly Queensday) we have the custom of celebrating that day too with a Freemarket;  that is that all can sell in the streets  their goods freely... so attics, storerooms and cupboards are cleared from old gear and whoever fancies that can buy it for a penny or so.

Apart from that freemarket and fancy fairs there's music played on every corner and beers and wines sold on many spots and locations... it's a day we all celebrate Life and the King's anniversary.
