Ice cream

We went to St Andrews today (as did thousands of others) as the day was sunny and warm. We had ice-cream at Janetta's and we spent the 15 mins in the queue debating which flavours. They had a huge choice with Alpine Avalanche, Sky Blue, Scottish tablet and lots and lots more. The beloved children had 3 scoops of assorted icecream, with toppings and wafers. I was just a little bit more restrained with Mint Choc Chip and Snickers (which I would have again). This was followed by a wander, some putting, some time on the beach, dinner and home.

If we do it again, we will book for dinner as everybody had the same idea and we weren't waiting 45 mins for a table anywhere. Lots of students dressed up as golfers for pub crawls and to be honest it was hard to tell some of them from the real golfers!
