Lakeside

An appropriate photo as we’re in the Lake District Centre Parcs. It’s really in the dales, I think, being on the eastern side of the M6 motorway, but it’s just ten minutes from Penrith, which is considered a Lake District town.

I’ve taken lots of photos of the grandkids this week but my daughters prefer that their children’s photos aren’t on the internet, so I have to be respectful of that in my blips!

We’ve just had our final swim of the holiday, the ‘lodge’ is cleared out and bikes are packed away in cars, so we’re all ready to go.

The offspring and grandies are booked in to the pancake house for a farewell treat, but the Ards Man and I will get on the road before that, travelling back to Cairnryan for our ferry home to Belfast. We’re sitting watching folk zoom over the lake on a zip wire!
