It’s a beautiful day

A beautiful day filled with blue skies and sunshine but still only 8 degrees. It did feel warmer in the sun though so pleasant to be outside enjoying it :)
I sat in the garden while Mike had calls where I watched the bluetit bringing bedding of horse hair for it’s nest .Plenty of greenfinch,goldfinch,chaffinch and siskins tucking into the sunflower hearts as well as the wood pigeons and herring gull who mop up any fallen seeds.
We went to Dingwall , first to the tip to get rid of some garden rubbish and then to get a car wash. We’re selling the Land Rover so Mike wanted it to have awash and polish before hand . Unfortunately the car wash place had run out of wax so we left it and went to get lunch from the deli in Strathpeffer instead.
We went to Loch Kinellan and sat on the bench .lovely and quiet with just the sound of the ducks calling to each other.
Had a walk up to see the goats and the alpacas .Glad to see two donkeys added to the fold.
On to Inverness and got the car washed and waxed at the usual place we go. Stopped at Merkinch and then North Kessock to get some photos of he car before putting it on Market Place and then home to enjoy the last of the sunshine.
