In the morning I did a couple of hours Ru sitting at the daughter’s while she busied herself tidying up the front garden. And we did a fair bit of blethering too. Then off to start getting the boat ready for sailing, starting with the sprayhood. But before long I was off to meet the SK uptown and see “How to Blow Up a Pipeline.” And I’ve got to say I really enjoyed it - a disparate group of young people from idealists to stoners, and including a gun toting libertarian sort, with a nice retro thriller feel to it. Full of ludicrous plot holes towards the end mind.
Then off to the Diggers to see this Man City v Arsenal crunch showdown game. Just as everyone expected, City were just too good. 4-1 too good. And who was there but Maitland and spouse. Blip. Briefly back home from lounging abroad for months. And who wasn’t there? His name begins with F...
