Abstract found in Nature

I went looking in my garden for something appropriate for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge.  This is the best I could do and it is a very tight crop down to just a small area of the image (hence rather grainy).  I kept cutting more and more away until all reference to its context was removed and it would appear truly abstract to the majority of viewers.

Just to keep you guessing, there are no further identifying tags yet.

It is exactly as TonyG identified, a dandelion seedhead after the seeds have blown away.
