I heard the samba band and got to my workplace's front window just in time to snatch a photo of the teachers.

Shame, shame, shame on those who do not value the people who devote their lives to benefitting others. Education, health, housing, water, food, energy, transport - the things we all need should belong to us all and be valued far, far above the other foolishnesses that seem to preoccupy so many of us.

I'm sorry that I'm mostly absent here. I'm unlikely to catch up with my own life, let alone everyone else's, but I'm still alive, happy and shattered.
