Shetland Ponies

Walked at 8am this morning in the sunshine. A work call came in halfway so I stood watching the Shetland ponies while I talked.

One of the horses was in “stud” mode having “cuddles” with the mares. One of them completely ignored him and carried on eating grass, another kicked him off, another ran away. I provided running commentary to my colleague and we called it “Pony Porn.” So funny.

The morning walk in the sunshine made such a difference to my mood today… even if it did chuck it down with rain all afternoon and evening. Fresh air and vitamin D is the answer to staying sane.

I listened to the rain from my desk with the window cracked open so I could watch the starlings flying in and out of their nest in the roof. I put a blanket on my lap in the end as it got quite chilly!

Middle of the day I visited the hairdresser for my hair colour. Enjoyed a good chat as always and a visit to the farm shop afterwards for steak. However it’s now 9pm and I can’t be bothered to cook so it’s cheese and nibbles tonight.
