Significant Individuals!

The topic in history this half term is significant individuals and I like to find people who my class will relate to because some of the suggestions, for me, won't spark a five year old brain!!

Today we had a look at Usain Bolt which was something completely new to them and a revelation! We watched his world record breaking 100 metres race and then sat on the carpet for a countdown matching 9.58 seconds. They couldn't believe how fast the time went and just loved everything about him, especially his signature winning pose!

As the weather is so damp, dreary and dull I thought I'd share some of their writing. :-)
