Cathkin Marshes
A fairly obscure, geographically, Scottish Wildlife Trust nature reserve a couple of kilometres from the Cathkin Braes. Without the guided tour by SWT volunteers I don’t think I would have found it. Considering the rain and chill we had a great turnout of 15. My knowledge of warblers has increased measurably, from one type to three.
Back home chilled to the bone, afternoon coffee with P, and mushroom risotto comfort food for tea.
I was delighted that some of the admin over the past few weeks has yielded good results which will ease one particular issue significantly.
