Phew!

I met up with Kathy in Leeds today. I was a bit concerned as yesterday was dreadful - dismal, wet and cold (more like October than May). I needn't have worried though, it's been a beautiful day - not perhaps quite as warm as you might expect at this time of year, but the sun was out so I'm not complaining!

We had a lovely afternoon/evening, chatting away and mooching tootling wandering around town without really looking at anything! Cocktails in The Corn Exchange then a bite to eat in Pizza Express over the road and I left her in the train station - I hope the rugby fans had already gone home!

What a great start to a week off :-)

This building has fascinated me since it was built a few years ago. I thought it was dreadfully ugly, rusty, an eyesore. But actually, now it's weathered a bit, it's beautiful. Particularly against a blue sky :-)
