A Corner of Stenness Parish
I put two loads of washing out, cleaned out the bread bin, washed up, pampered Bibs, dealt with the fishman, tried to find travel insurance for myself, checked correspondence with SSE and the Hoy Kirk and all this before 10.31 a.m. I think I need to examine my terms and conditions. Planted out cauliflower in the afternoon.
The day started gloriously and warm. By 11.00hrs it had dulled down. All afternoon it was three degrees centigrade with SE wind of 34 mph.
There was a dusting of snow on the Ireland Hills above Stenness (rarely featured on Blip – or in fact anywhere) but it quickly turned to rain.
That is it.
