Staying with my brother in Basingstoke as we are all heading into london to see Muse tomorrow. Decided to check out Kings Somborne as its where one of hubbys ancestors were born. Found no trace of him or family at the church but what a lovely village. Went to nearby Houghton to The Boot Inn for lunch after seeing good reviews on Trip Advisor. The weather was great for once and the beer garden backed onto this wonderful river. We were not disappointed the food was great as well as the views.
