Garage antics

Looking out of my bedroom window this morning, I watched these two herring gulls sharing some titbits on the garage roof. They weren’t squabbling so I reckoned they must be a couple and then I saw this and grabbed my IPad, that’s all I had upstairs to catch the moment, taken through the bedroom window and balcony glass.
Then I was bread making, both rolls and sour dough making. We were hoping for an hour in the garden but the rain started at 11am. We both thought the great tit chicks had flown but then I noticed both parents going into the box and now the blue tits have started feeding their young so there are lots of comings and goings in the back garden.
I have been outside in the garden twice collecting water from my greenhouse roof and putting it into larger containers as it will be needed when we finish the wildlife pond. Now the fog has come down and it looks awful outside. We have had a lot of rain today.
