New wheels

When I was cycling to pick the wee ones up there was a hospital van down at David and Andrea's house. We bumped into them on our way home. David had just received a new wheelchair to help him get out and about.  So they were giving it a test drive. Andrea is just a small woman , this chair is a bit heavier than their other one but it has some safety wheels at the back so it doesn't tip right back.  They are one of the loveliest couples I know. She use to be a nurse so David is in great hands. He is struggling a little that it has come to using a chair on longer distances. I told him he will because he's so independent and stubborn. But it will give him freedom.  And they know we are just a few doors down if they ever need anything.

The wildlings have had a good day. Carson got the train track set up the moment he was through the door. And the boys have been playing in the garden too. The three of them are manky and will go in the bath for the fourth night in a row this week.

Harp was practicing for her sports day at nursery.  She won four of her five races last year. Her favourite practice so far is the egg and spoon race.
I asked the teachers what carsons chances were of taking part. He's like forest gump and just wants to keep running round the field and not stopping.  Hehe. Hopefully on the day he will take part with the rest of them.

I had another good morning at work. I've really enjoyed working with my student for the last two weeks. We have had a great time together.

Mr R  will be working very late tonight again.  He will be getting the ferry over to Belfast tomorrow to attend is uncles funeral.  Its about £900 cheaper if he just goes alone than us all going as a family.  Hopefully one day we can all go over together.
