1240

Looking for an old building I went through some of the castles in the neighbourhood (virtually). I thought Frankenstein Castle would be a good choice. Or at least what is left over of it.
The first time mentioned was in 1252, it is assumed that the castle was built in 1240. So nearly 800 years old. Ms Mary Shelley, who wrote Frankenstein and his monster, might have borrowed the name from this castle.
