Natural wildness

This morning from the kitchen my eyes fell on a tree with what I thought were very large blooming catkins. I wasn’t wearing my glasses and there’s a protective grate before the windows so I was seeing it as blurry as the largest image. Obviously these weren’t catkins but a large amount of beard lichens as the other two images are showing in a clearer way.

Have a lovely meet-up with Damnonii, great to see her, her husband and their son again. Now we’re going to watch the ManCity-Arsenal game on tv !
