Midnight is really an affectionate cat...honest...
It is just foxes and one particular badger...

Yesterday and I was watching Mr Blackbird out of my front room window. He has all the food he needs in that front garden. Ivy berries, and cherries beginning to form.
His Mrs is manning the nest in the evergreen tree in the front garden.
Mr Blackbird brings in a worm or two for his Mrs and the babies, then he comes out of the nest, and sits on a branch of the Ash tree. He then preens himself, cleans his wings thoroughly, and then he helps himself to a few of the berries in the front garden, and then, when he is fully rested, he flies into my back garden to get a few more worms for his family, and then he comes back, gives the worms to his wife, comes straight out the nest and starts preening himself again, and he has a lovely little rest and feed from those berries, and then flies to my back garden, where he gets some more worms, and of course he helps himself to a few cat biscuits from the swing first, watched by Midnight who is also on the swing, and so this went on all day yesterday.

The only bird that doesn't trust Midnight is Mr Magpie...he gets his cat biscuits from the bird table...

Those cat biscuits on the swing are coveted by all the animal kingdom...they are the stuff of myths and legends...

I didn't get much work done...

Icy cold today.

I need a nap.

Had my coffee & cream - I sprinkled ginger and cinnamon on the top...

Now a cuppa tea.
