Long leggedy girls

I delivered my friend A to the intercity bus in Oamaru today: her first stage of a trip to Perth, Australia for a fortnight.

As a treat Bean and I then had a short walk on the Cape in the afternoon sun. The shadows were irresistible. 

It was just a short walk because we had already had a walk and Bean’s stamina needs to build up again. It was wonderful out there. And the dog smells were apparently second to none.

It has been a sunny cool day. A day for soup lunch, so I made a big batch of celery, tomato and coriander which will last me a week. Yum.
