A hint of red..
Went to a crofters meeting in the Hall today to discuss community registration of the crofts. All seems quite straightforward.
Then down the croft putting in pea sticks. As I don't have any pea sticks, or access to a large amount of trees to cut back, I've had to invest in some pea netting. It's 100 m long by 2 wide. I've used fence posts on the ends and middle of each row and one in the middle, and then tied nylon cord at ground level, and a metre up. The net was then draped over the top cord and fixed to the bottom with plastic ties. Need to make some pegs to hold the bottom cord to the ground, some bent wire staples should do the job.. You can see four rows to the left of the gate. There's another four rows to do, but I ran out of cord.. The carrots are coming up, under the fleece, and G planted some celeriac whilst I was hammering the posts in..
Hope the buoy is enough red to for BowBelle's challenge!
