Barons Haugh
I have walked past the RSPB reserve at Barons Haugh a couple of times and I returned today with binoculars and a picnic lunch, alone. Unfortunately the place was really busy with birders on the look out for a night heron that has suddenly appeared. Most were beside the river so I had the hides to myself. I was thrilled to see the great crested grebes, extra, and a little grebe. Badger setts everywhere with notices asking people to keep dogs on a short lead, and badger hairs too.
Back in plenty of time to have an afternoon snack before a run with RunTalkRun in Pollok Park.
