D had an appointment this morning and I went with him, so arrived late at work and my usual parking space was taken. There's another  place further up the street outside an ex-council building which is now standing empty and where noone ever seems to park...my photo is the graffiti on one of its boarded-up windows.

The cafe was busy as usual - we had a large party from a walking group, one of whose members was celebrating her 80th birthday - and the usual Tuesday regulars as well as some new customers. 

No swimming or sauna this afternoon as I had another kind of exercise planned at home - wrestling with a 45kg mower. D gave me expert instruction and I (almost) enjoyed it - that's my task for the rest of the summer and I'm looking forward to making a good job of it (and growing some muscles!).

I had a rest afterwards and a nice phone call from Sarah, and D cooked our tea. My plan had been to bivvy on top of a nearby hill tonight, but I'm going to sleep in the garden instead, under the cherry tree :-) ZZZZZZZ
