Fountain

Late 19th century fountain in the courtyard of Barts Hospital sparkling in the sunshine this morning.  I was giving Maurice1948 who is visiting from Oban a guided tour of my favourite corners of Clerkenwell.  Maurice knelt to listen to the River Fleet flowing through its tunnel beneath the grating in Saffron Street (first extra). We explored the wonderful Norman Quire of St Bartholomew the Great, seen through a mirror (second extra).  And we found his favourite air vent (third extra).
