Departure

We are on the plane and ready to say farewell to the sunshine and warmth. Everything went very smoothly though there was a long queue for passport control.

The weather was rather bleak on our return to Edinburgh. We are returning to Aberdeen by coach. This is not an experience we would choose to repeat in a hurry. First a bus to the Park and Ride to meet the Aberdeen coach. After a forty-minute wait at the Park and Ride, we were on the coach. We arrived in Aberdeen, then another bus to take us home; about five hours on buses and coach.

Cold in Aberdeen, but at least it is not raining.
