What a mess

Literally overnight the three River Indigo trees at the front of the garden shed their seedpods.  Arnie was setting about clearing them up when I headed off to work.

It's been a bit of an unsettled day.  The last week for many and the emotions are now starting to bite.  Irritation and grumblings were pretty evident as people started clearing their offices.

It wasn't made much better when the interview on the radio on my way to work was with the main politician responsible for the whole mess putting it down to a misunderstanding between what was intended and what was carried out.  Just one politician scoring points against another and trying to reflect the blame away from themselves.  

What a sad state of affairs!
