Gardeners BFF?

As i no longer walk, more and more i think and watch the behaviour of snails or Gastropods . Now it seems, i have more time and empathy for this most hated creature.
Usually i am mildly obsessed in the collection of the many shape, size and colours of the empty shell. Often found in numbers in snail cemeteries, very much similar to an elephants graveyard.
The spiral shape of the shell, mimicked by man is one of natures wonders. The range of colours in the shell under closer inspection are simply amazing.
And lastly, they move quite quickly or so it appears to me now i move at a "snails pace"
