Gatekeepers

Things you don’t notice… I finished work late and took a stroll to get some groceries. Made a blip-hungry little detour into the park, but I was uninspired. Until I headed for the gates and these ancient trees were just ‘suddenly’ there, like sentinels. How could I have missed them? Note the fact that the gates and the road down to the sea are aligned. I’m sure that’s no coincidence. Must be more mindful of the treasures of this locality, besides the wonderful seaside! Anyway it’s been a long day, so time for Kindle now!
