Cutting Up

The council crew were out early grass cutting as I walked back from the pool (which was exceptionally cold today!).  The driver was chatty and told me this was already the third time they had cut this area this year.  They leave the areas where the daffodils had been planted so the goodness in the leaves has a chance to return to the bulbs, but they will be cutting them soon.

After that I had an appointment at the hospital for blood tests before another cancer check up on Thursday.
