Getting acquainted

So Kanji and Shortbread met twice today. Here in the morning when Shortbread almost destroyed the barrier trying to get nearer him and later outside in the garden, again separated. That was a more placid affair.
It was an amazing day for wildlife. Our night cam at the badger sett caught a deer and her youngster as well as a rabbit. This afternoon, screeching alerted us to the fact a bird of prey had grabbed one of our blackbirds on our front doorstep! Luckily us opening the door scared it off, the poor blackie got away but had lost a lot of feathers. I hope it survived.
