Farmyard Golf

I think a certain young man will sleep well tonight!  Becky had an important meeting this morning so we took Euan to his swimming lesson and Tony went in the pool with him. Afterwards we drove to the garden centre and had a snack before playground fun.  I sussed out the Farmyard Golf Course and the girl on the desk was very relaxed about us turning up whenever as it was a slow day. When I mentioned crazy golf to Euan he was off his tractor like a shot. We were the only people on the course so we could take our time and go back to favourite holes. It is a great little farmyard themed course with a moving bridge over a stream that you have to pull across with ropes, Euan loved that and also the one where the ball goes down an underground pipe and pops out on the next green. I had to put the timer on that one! We had a second go round before the rain arrived and we went in to the restaurant for late lunch.  

It was pouring when we came out so we set off back in the awful traffic which seemed to take forever. Back home it was an hour of games and puzzles with Euan fading fast, then a bit of quiet time with Tractor Ted before Mum and Dad arrived home.
