Potatoes

I planted my main crop potatoes today.  The very unexciting thumbnail shows the little heaps of compost placed over each seed potato.  This was to make sure they weren't cooked before they had a chance to grow as the grass and moss from scarification were cooking nicely in the bulk bag. 

The extra is the very last of the Christmas potatoes cooking for tea today. Yes they were tiny (max 1.5cm), no I didn't peel them and yes they were delicious. We still have some of last year's Pink Fir Apple crop, to keep us going for a few more weeks.
