Onion Johnny

I turned the TV on this afternoon and the Hairy Bikers were talking about Onion Johnnies. This was the name given to Breton farmers and agricultural works who came to the UK, going door to door selling onions. I can remember one "Johnny " coming round our neighbourhood when I was young.
