River Glen at Surfleet

I finished another painting today. I had bought the frame and canvas in a charity shop. The painting was originally a vase and flowers, but it was a horrible daub so I decided to repaint the canvas with a Lincolnshire scene that I remember well, not far from where I lived. There were five of us at the art group this afternoon and Annie brought a very tasty apple cake made with rice flour. It was so nice I had two slices with my tea and, knowing my love of cake, she very kindly let me take what remained home with me!
