In the Willow

This morning I visited Craiglockhart Pond to check on the swans nest and then went to the allotment. I am still not quite sure about the swans but the male is sitting constantly on the nest now.
The allotment was enjoyable but there were 2 heavy hail showers.  I managed to have a fire, strim, dig, plant Gladioli bulbs, plant cosmos and cornflower seeds and do some weeding.
Will catch up on other jobs this afternoon.
This female blackbird was sunning herself in the willow tree, a male was on the lower branches.
