I scratched my car with a snow shovel and managed to cause £2,500 worth of damage. To further my punishment I have to drive this courtesy car, advertising the fact I’ve dinted my own car….

It’s four years since I drove a manual, and my previous manual car had an automatic handbrake, so many driving skills need to be refreshed. Hill starts for instance. I think it will need a new clutch by the end of the week if my drive back home from the garage is anything to go by!
