Eerik akselinpoika tott and her house..

Eerik Akselinpoika came from Denmark to Sweden at a young age and enjoyed the favor of the local king (Kaarle VIII Knuutinpoika), which is why he received Turku castle county as his fiefdom in 1450 and Nyköping castle county soon after. However, he became a supporter of the Danish party.

Together with Jöns Pentinpoika Oxenstierna, Eerik Akselinpoika led the Swedish Kalmar alliance to restore Charles VIII against Knutinpoika in 1457. As a result, they became governors for a short time before Kristian I's rise to power. In 1467, Eerik Akselinpoika moved to Finland, where he commanded large areas of Viipur.

Tott started the construction of Olavinlinna in 1475. In Savonlinna, the hotel Tott is named after him, which currently functions as a student dormitory in the winter. There is also Tottinkatu in Savonlinna, which starts from the market square and follows the harbor to Viiskulma.
