Don’t eat the bluebells!

Despite the fact I used to live in the backwoods of Texas, am a qualified geography teacher and have led both Explorer Scouts and DofE groups, my husband always thinks he knows best when watching programmes where people are stranded on desert islands , etc… so one of the things I got him for his birthday was a day’s survival course.

We did it today so we were well-placed when the emergency alert went off at 3pm (and 2.50pm and 3.20pm???).

Not sure we’d fare very well if we were actually stranded in the woods but we met some lovely people and it was good fun. My picture is what we foraged for our lunch.
