The Chequers Post Box...
I grew up in the Village of Quendon, and when I went on to secondary school I walked to the bus stop by the Chequers Pub every school day. The post box in the wall of the pub is an early Edward VII type and must have been there about 120 years...
Sadly the post box has out lasted the pub, like so many others it's gone out of business.
We were out that way to photograph the bluebells in Coney Acre Wood with friends from the Camera Club. I don't think they are going to be as good this year as in previous years... (extra)
Back is a lot better today I'm happy to say.
