I've been framed....
6'3" human for scale.... The basic frame of the polytunnel has come together reasonably quickly after digging the foundation holes took forever (couple of inches of sandy gravel, thick weed control fabric (hah!), about 10 inches of rocks in heavy soil, then thick, hard soil with some lurking giant boulders needing the use of an angle grinder, big metal wedge, and sledgehammer).
The last of those done before breakfast, the hoops slotted into place nice and easy (okay, one needed a bit of 'encouragement').
In theory we could fit around 6 of these on this ex-horse exercise yard (the yard being 'ex', rather than being for exercising deceased equines).
Still a load of work to be done through the week (door, staging etc) before the wait for a non-windy day to tackle the cover, and to make sure that next weekend I've got the time and space to build the pigs' electric fence.
