Hoy, sunbeams and George (Day 2906)

Cold and windy for the morning wander with Sigyn, but at least I missed the rain which arrived while I was in Tesco.
Home to unload the shopping then off to do hoss checks and fill hay nets. I wanted to collect tools I had abandoned at the field after yesterday's failed attempt to get the quad running too. In a moment of madness I decided to give the quad another try. It came so close to starting, then the battery gave up.
Back home and then out with Sigyn for a wander. We got drookit on the way back home.
I made a start on organising some lunch while waiting for my beautiful wife to return from even more hossing adventures.
Later, after HV had gone to work, I headed for Stromness where I failed to start the quad again. It was closer this time though. I could hear it firing but it never got itself underway.
