Updating my day at this point when I have some energy left.

Thank you all for the kind messages and wishes. It's been quite a week for me. I stated with the cough and then got the fever and nausea. For few days I was able to get by with the medication for both but then I just started to throw up everything. I small spoon of tea and up it came. Finally I just figured it's time to call help. I wasn't able to eat during the fever + nausea days, but I was able to drink with the nausea pills. But after that things escalated quickly downward.

I didn't know that we even have this service in Finland or where we live. So instead of taking me into a hospital, I got the hospital care at home. They came 4 times and gave me medicines and liquids via IV. They first came yesterday afternoon. Then around 10pm. then 4 am and then 10 am. Always different nurse but all very nice and professionals. They'd call and consult the doctor over phone who then gave the medicine orders. How wonderful is that?

My fever is down and I'm able to take the nausea medicine now as a pill. IV is gone and I just need to try drink and eat something. Which is a struggle, but slowly I'll get there. Coughing? Unfortunately yes.

Amazing fact. I got so dry that my nose completely stopped dripping. After the Iv was hooked, I got that back as well.

According to my morning labs I'm still quite dried up. So yes, they even did the lab work at our house.

I'm still very exhausted. I don't have words for it. But feel it's getting to better direction. And I'm so grateful for this care I've been given. Amazing.

Insane. I would have paid them 1000€ at that point. I was desperate.
