Painting on Saturday

I had a busy day. I was booked on the painting day, which was a nice indoor event for a miserable wet day. We have had several themed weeks recently, but this was a free choice day, although there was an interesting session on watercolour paint, a very complicated subject. I listened in even though I usually paint in acrylics. Then I settled in with my ’Van Goghesque’ masterpiece :-) It’s a painting I started on one of our earlier painting days.
I had to leave early as I had dinner guests and had jobs to do. Mr D made a pie (and he does make a good pie) and I made a rhubarb and apple crumble. Everyone enjoyed the meal that included some excellent cheese provided by our guests.
