In The Open

I have seen green heron here before (Quick Reaction), it's been quite some time though. I saw a blue flash and there it was. I was surprised to see it out in the open. Not sure why it's called a green heron. It didn't stay long, but I located it and its mate later in the reeds.

Also saw a gaggle (?) of kildeer. I could hear them ok, but they were very well camouflaged. And blue teals that were getting quite frisky - see extra.

Extra: Over Excited. Managed to catch them flying, now their blue wings are visible.
