Shiny

Had a day trip to London today for a centenary thing at hubby’s work.
Managed a stroll to Buckingham Palace.
It was absolutely hoaching with people as The Mall and Bird Cage Walk were closed to pedestrians due to the mini marathon and in prep for the London Marathon tomorrow.
There was also a huge protest at Westminster and along with the usual tourists, it was a bit of a bottleneck.

The sun was shining though and the Victoria Memorial statue in front of the palace was shiny and bright.

Best bit of the day was brief pop-ins to our girls and boys on our way home.
Had some granny cuddles. Gorgeous grandson was in fun form today :)
