Friends

It’s been a long old day, a busy sunny day at work, followed by a quick trip to the wine merchants for a birthday present and a visit to the car dealership to have a look at a car I’d spotted online.
Tonight we went to a surprise 50th birthday for a lovely man we met on a cruise nearly seven years ago. It was in a swanky cocktail bar with private function rooms in Stafford. Good to catch up with true lifelong friends, make new friends and have a genuinely fun night. Hour’s drive home and now very ready for bed.
