Lord of the Ring!

When you ask your auld paw if there's anything you can do for him, you expect to be asked to make him a cuppa, nip to the shop or if you're really unlucky, clean his hearing aids!

But today's task was a different challenge, how to get his wedding ring off after it had got stuck on the wrong finger three weeks ago (don't ask!).

First attempts using brute force and ignorance were unsuccessful and further attempts with soap and washing up liquid made little difference, it just wouldn't budge.

After seeking professional assistance (YouTube), a length of string, a dollop of Vaseline, a strip of Sellotape, brute force and a few swearies did the trick.

Now I just have to work out how to stitch/superglue his finger back on?
